Who we are: The Ulster Society for the Prevention Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) is the second oldest Animal Welfare Charity in the world. It has a proud history of protecting all animals in Northern Ireland, providing practical care and rescue, campaigning and lobbying for stronger animal welfare legislation and working in partnership with individuals, communities, and public sector agencies to secure a better future for animals.
What we do: We continue to evolve and are ambitious to do more for animals. This includes opening new centres across NI to extend our reach and make our services more accessible. Current activities include:
- Animal cruelty investigations
- Schools and community outreach
- Pet Pledge future pet-care planning
What we're looking for: The CEO will lead the organisation in its current phase of development as set out in its 2030 vision statement. The role is high profile, and the successful candidate will represent the organisation externally and be comfortable speaking publicly on policy issues. A natural, results-focused and business-minded leader, they will be able to manage a diverse range of people and resources to deliver excellence in service provision and sustainability.
