This is a long term temporary position, but the desire is to make it a permanent position, so suited to someone who is looking for a long term role, rather than a short term contract.

They offer flexible start/finish times and hybrid working once you're up to speed.

They are in the process of upgrading legacy systems as part of their new digital strategy and need an IT Systems Manager to assist with this, while keeping the lights on for existing services. You'll not be alone, there is a wider IT team here to collaborate with.

What you'll do

• Manage and participate in the development and implementation of existing systems and new projects to meet business goals and objectives.
• Manage the day to day LOB IT Systems Service Requests and Incidents using a Service Management tool, ensuring SLA standards are in place and met both internally and externally. This includes working with a wide range of external suppliers and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Responsible for the management of existing and new systems infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, security and asset management across all IT systems hardware, software and licensing.
• Co-ordinate change release and change management activities associated with system upgrades or changes with all stakeholders.
• To participate fully in quality initiatives particularly those involving the application of ISO 2

About you

• Degree in an IT related discipline
• Driving licence and access to car
• 2+ years of relevant experience in the below (5+ years if no Degree):
• Systems management
• Systems upgrades / migrations
• Change management
• Troubleshooting complex IT issues
• Planning, organising and prioritising tasks
• Supplier and 3rd party engagement
• Managing relationships with senior stakeholders
