Your new role
As part of the existing team, you will be responsible for:
- Administer and process comprehensive weekly and monthly payroll using Sage software, ensuring strict compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Accurately calculate and process PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records, promptly updating any changes such as new hires, departures, employment status, and role changes.
- Manage and reconcile time and attendance records, reporting payroll data daily to Senior Leadership.
- Upload finalised payroll payments to the bank account on a weekly basis.
- Ensure full adherence to UK payroll legislation, tax laws, and regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should possess 2 to 5 years of experience working in a payroll function. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of efficiently managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in Sage software, and excellent organisational skills are essential.
