IT Support Engineer

MCS Group is proud to work exclusively with a well-established, locally grown manufacturing company eager to expand its team by adding a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer.

This team will play a key role in an exciting modernisation project. It will focus on cloud migration and leveraging data to enhance overall business efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

• Carrying out the installation and configuration of hardware and software across the site.
• Responding to any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Hands on supporting and maintenance of Microsoft-focused technology.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation for new staff training purposes.
• Assist new staff with set up and training within their workstations.
• Carry out the maintenance and support of Active Directory.
• Support end users within the business in person or remotely, focusing on the delivery and level of end-user service.

What You’ll Need:

• Some Degree of IT Support knowledge within a professional environment.
• Drive and determination to learn and grow within your role!
• Experience supporting both wired and wireless networks.
• Industry experience working with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory.
