Junior CAD Engineer

A company renowned for its expertise in the design and installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems is currently seeking a Junior CAD Engineer to become part of their design team in Belfast.

Your new role

• Support a team of experienced designers in the preparation and designing of sprinkler systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with clients, including attending site meetings as needed.
• Assist in the production of technical documents, installation drawings, and coordination models.
• Conduct on-site surveys when required.
• Assist with specification of equipment according to design criteria.
• Prepare certification and O&M documentation.
• Participate in client update and review meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position should have experience and proficiency in AutoCAD from a mechanical/electrical, architectural or engineering background. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also important qualities. Candidates must also have a valid UK Driving licence.
