Role: Wellbeing Co-ordinator (Independent Living) – Temporary – Craigavon

Job Overview

VANRATH are excited to support a returning client, who offer invaluable services to people across NI. There is currently a need for a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who will be responsible for overseeing and supporting tenants in an independent living setting.

  • Salary: £11.73 - £12.28 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure tenants' support needs are met and maintain regular contact.
  • Work with the Housing Officer to deliver services, keep accurate records, and use ICT systems.
  • Respond to emergency calls, manage low-level anti-social behaviour, and collaborate with other agencies.
  • Welcome new tenants, supervise the scheme, and carry out fire checks.
  • Encourage social activities, build community relations, and promote tenant involvement.
  • Support tenants in sustaining tenancies, inspect repairs, and oversee contractors.
  • Collaborate with team members, provide cover for neighbouring schemes, and maintain administrative records.
  • Supervise Domestic Assistants / Caretakers and ensure cleanliness.
  • Embrace learning opportunities and follow company policies on Equality & Diversity and Data Protection.

Essential Criteria:

  • Good understanding of great customer experience
  • Experience with computer packages and digital tools
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, and support plans
  • Ability to provide tailored services to meet support needs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and accurate recording
  • Compassionate and empathetic in a housing-related role
  • Ability to take initiative, handle difficult situations, and take responsibility
  • Ability to supervise staff and liaise with contractors for high standards
  • Flexible working hours, including out-of-hours as required
