Your new role
As the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing high-impact fundraising strategies. Your responsibilities will include securing significant income from diverse sources, fostering long-term partnerships, and leading on high-value fundraising applications and campaigns. You will cultivate relationships with key corporate partners, funders, and major donors, ensuring long-term financial commitments. Additionally, you will oversee the planning and delivery of flagship fundraising events and initiatives, enhancing donor engagement and revenue growth. It will be your responsibility to drive positive change through fundraising efforts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in income generation, whether in fundraising, sales, business development, or account management, with a track record of meeting financial targets.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with donors, clients, or corporate partners, securing long-term support and financial contributions.
  • Experience in developing proposals, pitches, or funding applications to secure income from various sources.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure financial commitments from stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write compelling proposals, reports, or presentations.
  • Experience in delivering income-generating campaigns or initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and adapt communication styles for different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, particularly in supporting LGBTQIA+ communities.
