Job Description
The Commercial Team is responsible for buying goods and services contracts to support NI Water in their provision of water and wastewater services for the people of Northern Ireland.
This role involves providing essential support to the Commercial Team, requiring both project support skills and administrative assistance. You will gain valuable experience primarily within the Procurement team, with additional exposure to Contract Management and compliance.
The variety of contracts you’ll get exposure to is diverse and interesting, ranging from vans and chemicals to IT systems and energy. The Commercial Team focuses on acquiring the necessary goods and services for NI Water and managing these contracts throughout their lifecycle. This profession is varied, challenging, and rewarding, and it is highly sought after worldwide.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or higher.
2. A minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent at grade C or higher.
3. Working towards a third level qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) in a Business/Finance/legal related field.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. MS Excel experience should include the ability to analyse and manipulate data for presentation in a professional manner.

Salary
This role offers a competitive remuneration package with a salary scale of £20,842 - £25,474 per annum (pay award pending).
The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale.
