Honeycomb Jobs is working with a large Public Sector organisation, looking to recruit a temporary, part-time Customer Support Officer (6 months, to be reviewed). This role is 22.20 hours per week, working a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday,
The Client – The Public Sector organisation is situated in the Antrim & Mossley Mill catchment area.
The Role: To provide a high level of internal and external customer service , offering a flexible, professional and comprehensive information, guidance and support through a variety of channels, within their Organisational Development department.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Deal with service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out all financial procedures including receiving/ processing customer payments (including online) and completing reconciliation/ daily reports.
- Operate the Council telephone switchboard and public address system, connecting the entire organisation.
- Using the Council telephone switchboard and public address system, connecting the entire organisation.
- Receive and log all deliveries, including post.
- Act as a point of contact for customers to provide information on events, displays and exhibitions.
- Assist the Customer Services Manager and Customer Support Advisor to collect information about the service problems/ trends and assist the production of performance reports.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy.
- Consideration may be given to candidates who do not hold the above qualifications but who can demonstrate 2 years’ experience as detailed below.
- Have a minimum of one year’s experience in a Customer Service role with experience in reception duties, cash handling, operating a till and handling customer enquiries by phone, Live Char or email.
- Access to a suitable form of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role including operating a customer management information system would be desirable.
