PLC Programmer (Automation Engineer)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a PLC Programmer/Automation Engineer for our client who is a leading provider of innovative solutions in industrial automation and control systems.

You will collaborate with Sales, Electrical Engineers, and customers to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions that power modern industrial systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Testing & Validation: Utilize Codesys and C programming environments to test and validate software, integrating with Allen Bradley and Siemens HMIs/PLCs.
• Machine Networking: Implement and maintain industrial machine networking protocols such as Ethernet IP, CAN bus, Profinet, and Modbus.

You will have:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong background in industrial automation and control systems software development.
• Proficiency in Codesys, C programming, and working with PLCs/HMIs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens).
• Electromechanical Expertise: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, and industrial machinery specifications.
