Reed are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated HSEQ Professional to join a thriving business due to company expansion. This role is based in Strabane and requires a candidate with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience, who is NEBOSH qualified. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and implementing Health & Safety arrangements and ensuring compliance with HSEQ legislation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and manage Health & Safety arrangements for our Phase 2 Construction site.
• Monitor and implement the organisation's HSEQ procedures.
• Ensure the organisation is compliant with HSEQ legislation and work to reduce and prevent hazards, dangers, and accidents.
• Carry out site inspections and audits, providing photographic evidence and documented reports.
• Take full responsibility for departmental hazard and risk analysis.
• Ensure the health and safety of the workers, the workplace, the environment, and the general public.
• Coordinate staff training and deliver toolbox talks.
• Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents through internal procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for external bodies in relation to all HSEQ matters.
• Support and advise on Health & Safety Management and compliance.
• Promote a proactive Health & Safety approach/attitude among employees and site staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• CSCS holder.
• Previous construction experience.
• Direct experience of working on site or supporting project-related Health & Safety.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
