We are currently recruiting a General Assistant to join our client in Ballymena
Full time - 37 hours per week
£12.85 per hour
Main Purpose of the Role:
Provide support to the team, including transport of service users and staff using company vehicles, as required.
Provide efficient and effective cleaning/caretaking duties ensuring the security and general appearance of the building and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard.
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service!
Job Duties:
Open and close premises and grounds as required; ensuring all security checks are completed.
Report any incidents of accident / loss immediately and keep all records up to date.
Drive company vehicles adhering to driving legislation at all times.
Ensure that the company vehicles are deemed roadworthy by completing and keeping up to date pre-use records.
Undertake cleaning duties as required; Including kitchens, communal rooms & landscape surrounding the building.
Report any repairs or defects directly to the line manager.
Provide hospitality; including light refreshments on request for service users
Set up equipment & furniture as and when required to meet the needs of service users’ bookings.
Assist with simple administrative duties as required; including the implementation of customer feedback and complaints.
Uphold excellent service standards at all times ensuring service users’ experience are maintained, monitored and improved.
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language
and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate
literacy and numeracy
Applicants
must be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, a
minimum of one years’ experience (four years’ if Academic requirement in
Criterion 1 is not met) of:
Applicants must either hold a valid First Aid qualification or indicate
willingness to participate in First Aid training
Applicants must willingness to
work on a shift pattern across a six day week, as well as on Sundays and public
holidays when required.
Applicants
must willingness and ability to respond to emergency call-outs for the
building, including at unsociable times, evenings, weekends, and public
holidays
