Your new role
As a Workshop Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the warehouse and workshop environment. You will coordinate all logistical requirements of the business efficiently, working closely with the Operations Manager to execute business objectives and manage team members to ensure these objectives are met. This hands-on role involves planning and coordinating machine movements within customer locations, managing machine preparation in the workshop, and overseeing international transportation administration. You will lead and develop the warehouse function, ensuring optimal use of warehouse and yard areas, maintaining health and safety compliance, and fostering a clean and tidy workplace. Additionally, you will manage project execution, analyse business data, and produce reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proven self-organizational skills and self-motivation. Strong project management skills, excellent Microsoft Excel/Office skills, and outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. You should be proactive with a positive 'can-do' approach and capable of leading by example.
