Compliance Operations Analyst – Remote from anywhere in Northern Ireland

MCS Group are partnering with a scaling global FinTech who are now looking to speak to a skilled Compliance Operations Analyst in Northern Ireland.

This is a brand new, full-time permanent job opportunity which is fully remote for someone based in Northern Ireland – the firm already have a base of remote workers in NI.

The Role:

You’ll be joining a small Compliance Operations team responsible for ensuring the company executes its daily monitoring requirements.

• Effective monitoring of fiat and crypto transactions – identify fraudulent behaviours using available tools, systems
• Develop an understanding of compliance procedures, be proactive in helping to refine, improve transaction monitoring systems
• Execution of the implemented processes for AML, Fraud, Sanctions and FIAT programs
• Conducting investigations into account activity, gather compelling evidence, escalate observations

The Person:

The successful Compliance Operations Analyst will meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within Financial Services – with experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, cyber-crime investigations
• Understanding of trades
• Skilled in statistical analysis and data visualisation
• Professional background in fraud is desirable, but not essential
• AML or Compliance qualifications are advantageous but not essential
