TRAINER - Fire Safety

My client is a fast-growing local company that provides a wide range of services, training and products to protect individuals and companies from the dangers of fire. They offer Fire Risk Assessments, Alarm installation/maintenance and deliver tailored training solutions to ensure on-going legal compliance with Northern Ireland’s fire safety legislation.

They are looking to recruit a full-time permanent Trainer to help deliver a range of fire safety training courses to suit all levels of staff/employee, including Fire Awareness, Fire Warden, Fire Marshall and Fire Manager.

You will deliver the theory session in the training room and then run practical sessions where candidates gain hands on experience of extinguishing a live fire using fire extinguishers and fire blankets. You will also be trained to deliver scenario based training using the latest Virtual Reality (VR) Headset technology.

You will assess knowledge and competence then issue certificates. You will keep accurate training records on attendees and results.

You will be a self-starter who has relevant training experience within the fire safety field. You will have great communication and presentation skills and have the ability to keep an audience engaged. You will be well organised with ability to manage your own diary. You will have good IT skills. You must hold a full clean driving licence.

Starting salary of £30,000 negotiable dependent on experience, Monday to Friday 9-5, company vehicle, 28 days holiday, pension, mobile, staff uniform.
