Account Handler

Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a leading Insurance Brokerage Company to recruit for a Commercial Account Handler, with the option of working in an office environment or remotely. The role is full time and permanent and would suit someone coming from a strong Account Handler background.

The Client
Our client is one of the largest independently owned Insurance Brokers in NI, with their head office based in Omagh. They have been trading for 33 years, and through organic growth and acquisitions, have built a network of 14 branches across NI & 2 locations in ROI. They put their customers at the heart of everything they do and have an excellent reputation on the market as a leader in their field.

The Role
The role of the Account Handler will sit within the Commercial Lines division, dealing with a variety of insurance products. Typical duties will include:

• Producing quotations
• Contribute to the growth of the Dickson commercial book servicing clients & maximising retention rates
• Processing new business applications
• Managing the renewal process
• Liaise with external stakeholders
• Cross selling and up-selling on other insurance products and new business
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all insurance needs are met

Essential Criteria

• Two to three years account handler experience in a busy environment
• Prepared to work on their own initiative
• Good numeracy, literacy & IT skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Package

• Salary starting from c.£3, depending on experience
• Potential to earn up to £500 bonus per month
• Pension contribution

• 22 days annual leave, plus stats
• Option to work hybrid or remotely
