R&D Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a R&D Engineer for our client who is a medical device manufacturing company.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative company whose mission is to improve patient outcomes.

As the R&D Engineer, you will design, develop, and test state-of-the-art electromedical devices.

As the R&D Engineer you will:

• Design and develop new and existing electromedical devices.
• Conduct analyses to identify root causes of failures and recommend preventive measures.
• Apply finite element analysis techniques to assess product designs and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal colleagues to satisfy product and process quality requirements.

You will have:

• Degree level in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering
• Previous experience working within an electronics development team within medical devices or heavily regulated industry
