We are currently recruiting for Communications & Engagement Manager based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Duration: 6-12 months
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week
Rate of pay: £17.94
Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with DAE in drafting and developing new strategic and
operational approaches to communications and engagement issues, and to
advise and assist the AET in implementing programmes of engagement and
consultation with key stakeholders as appropriate.
To lead on the production of videos, podcasts and digital media outreach
across NIJAC’s strategic outreach and operational scheme promotion
activities. - Identifying, arranging, and delivering seminars/webinars/podcasts on NIJAC’s work to interested parties.
- Delivering communication projects designed to engage with the public and
key stakeholders (e.g. development, production, delivery of new online media,
bespoke engagement with under-represented groups etc.). - Developing and maintaining the appearance of NIIJAC’s website and online
content and corporate branding; managing specific online projects and writing
marketing/communications pieces for website and in response to requests for
information.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
1. A third level qualification.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a Communications role to include the production of video and audio content, and the use of social media to promote awareness of an organisation or event
3. Proven experience in the analysis of information, leading to evidenced based decision making.

- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to use own initiative.
