The role
- Provide advice and guidance to areas on HR strategy and policies, procedures, workforce planning and recruitment.
- Deliver a proactive HR service providing timely HR advice and guidance and helping to resolve issues promptly.
- Provide support, coaching, development and guidance to relevant Managers/Supervisors.
- Participate in meetings with Trade Unions in relation to casework, policy development and initiatives in support of HR Strategy.
- Lead on formal disciplinary and grievance cases including appeals and tribunals.
- Lead and advise on innovative attraction methods, recruitment, selection and performance management.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Applicants must have
- Level 5* Qualification or higher in a relevant business area
Or;
Plus
- Experience in Employee Resourcing
- Employee Relations
- Employee Attendance
- HR Policy Development
