Quality Control Technician

MCS Group is proud to work with an innovative manufacturing company based in Dungannon. Our client is currently looking for a QC (Quality Control) Technician to join their growing team.

As a QC Specialist, you will run and test machinery to ensure no defects are produced according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Run and conduct machine tests, ensuring all machines are built to the correct specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct visual, dimensional. Mechanical and functional inspections on a wide variety of equipment and machinery.
• Identify machine defects or potential issues and determine a resolution.
• Support any process improvements through testing and QA processes.
• Ensure that robust inspection practices and techniques are employed efficiently.

Essential Criteria

• Fitting experience with hydraulics in an engineering/ manufacturing environment
• Experience in heavy manufacturing
• Ability to fault find and problem solve
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes in heavy machinery
