MCS Group is delighted to be working with a fast growing, Medical device/Pharmaceutical company based in Larne to recruit a Buyer to join their Supply Chain team on a short term contract for 6 months.

Come from a Supply Chain background, and want to develop under an experienced team?

Want flexibility with working hours?

You will;

• Manage a portfolio of vendors across a number of commodities to drive cost and service improvements throughout the supply chain.
• Execute the SIOP & demand plan to ensure materials supply to feed factory builds
• Conduct supplier reviews to help maintain supplier on time delivery performance, focussing on service.
• Execute forecasts & PO’s to the supply base in a timely manner to ensure flexible production planning & supply to meet factory requirements.
• Utilise SAP to generate reports & extract data to manage forecasting, supply and planning of material to and from the factory.
• Ensure accurate pricing and supply data is maintained on SAP for purchases.
• Identify opportunities to achieve positive cost savings across the supply chain.
