Solutions Architect

MCS Group is proud to be recruiting for a Solutions Architect on behalf of a market-leading manufacturing company in County Antrim. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful, well-established business that is continuing to grow and invest in its future.

As part of this growth, the client are expanding their IT team and looking for a passionate and ambitious Solutions Architect to play a key role in shaping business applications, IT infrastructure, and engineering systems.

The Role:

• Work across IT, engineering, and infrastructure to architect and implement best-in-class solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, manage architectural constraints, and develop scalable solutions.
• Gather, document, and analyse business needs to recommend the best system configurations and ERP models.
• Lead end-to-end solution design, from understanding business objectives to system implementation.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and technical teams to develop as-is and to-be process documentation.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A background in a Solutions Architect role, ideally within manufacturing or automotive industries.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale computing solutions, including ERP/MRP/CRM systems (implementation & integration), cloud technologies, and data integration.
• Experience in SQL database management and data process flows.
• Desirable:
  • TOGAF Certification
  • Power Platform experience
  • Azure (Legacy & Migration)
