- Position: Fabrication Workshop Supervisor
- Location: Maghera
- Salary: £37,000 - 38,000 per annum
- Full time, Permanent
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fabrication Supervisor to take the lead in a workshop environment.
Duties will include:
- Workshop Management & Production: Oversee operations, workload, scheduling, logistics, and material quality, ensuring projects meet budgets and deadlines.
- Stock & Asset Control: Manage timesheets, stock audits, storage, and equipment tracking.
- Health & Safety: Enforce compliance, PPE use, safety inspections, and incident reporting.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure standards, material traceability, accurate documentation, and subcontractor compliance.
- Team Leadership: Develop staff, provide coaching, conduct briefings, and manage performance.
What experience do you need?
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in welding/fabrication
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and fabrication drawings
- Experience supervising a workshop team in the industry
- Engineering standards experience in medium and heavy fabricated structures
- Valid Forklift Licence and CSR Certification
