The post holder will act as the first point of contact for enquiries from a range of stakeholders including current and prospective students and staff. They should provide a welcoming and professional service on a range of of mental health, wellbeing and disability concerns. This job will include facilitating an in person daily Drop In for students, offering guidance and support to students and staff, ensuring a sensitive and confidential approach when dealing with vulnerable/distressed individuals or difficult situations.

This is a part time position, working 25.9 hours per week (0.7 FTE), Monday to Friday.

About the person:

This post will be suited to a compassionate individual with empathy and good listening and problem solving skills who is able to handle difficult situations and remain calm in a busy work environment. Some work is reactive and involves managing risk, and therefore needs to be prioritised. The successful candidate should be able to work well individually and as part of a team and be confident in assessing risk and escalating appropriately.
