Business Development Manager
My client is a global leader in the selling, marketing and distribution of food and non-food products to various sectors. Due to expanding growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team based in Lisburn.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position – with remote working.
Hours of work: Full time (Monday to Friday)
Job Role:
You will be responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit and margin targets for your assigned area.
Essential Criteria:
- 3-5 years field sales experience within the wine and spirit’s market.
- A background in Account Management, Area Sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the wine and spirit’s market.
- Wine Accreditation WSET Level 2 or equivalent.
- Strong credit control skills.
- Strong analytical skills and computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Full clean B Driving Licence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit and margin targets for your assigned area.
- Responsible for role modelling and building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Maintain and grow the customer base in your assigned area.
- Be responsive and flexible to your customers’ needs.
