Commercial Manager

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Commercial Manager to join a contractor in Belfast.

The company operate across a number of disciplines including commercial, industrial, education & healthcare sectors, and wishes to bolster their team with a senior commercial professional.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with NEC contracts and exposure to working on a range of project types as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working for a main contractor or specialist contractor.

Duties will include

• On-site measurement and measurement of drawings as required.
• Monitoring contract costs against budgets - company financial reporting.
• Identifying potential risks and evaluate options for control.
• Preparation of estimates.
• Analysing sub-contract quotations.
• Preparation and agreeing variation accounts.
• Preparation and agreeing of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare and issue certification for contract payments to sub-contractors.
• Providing evidence for resolution of disputes.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
