Senior Project Coordinator

ICBAN’s mission is to improve the quality of life and prosperity of the Central Border Region, by creating a dynamic model of best practice and partnership in cross-border development. Due to recent project funding successes the cross-border partnership is recruiting for the following position:

Senior Project Coordinator

SO2 (SP 26 £36,124 – SP 28 £37,928)

The Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating ICBAN’s functions in the delivery of a number of funded projects, including DS3 and GEMINI (recently supported under the PEACEPLUS programme). DS3 is a Smart Towns and Villages project engaging civil and business communities in the adoption of ICT solutions in community service delivery and economic activity, to create more connected and sustainable communities. GEMINI (Geothermal Energy Momentum on the Island of Ireland) aims to identify and demonstrate sustainable geothermal energy solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

The Senior Project Coordinator will ensure that all ICBAN’s responsibilities for the management, promotion, monitoring and reporting of these and other funded projects are fulfilled, thus ensuring that programme outcomes and results are delivered.

The postholder is also required to identify new cross-border development opportunities and develop creative and novel solutions that address priority regional needs, and steer new project concepts through to reality.

Key Requirements:

• A third level qualification in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in the coordination, management and completion of complex projects of significant value
