Principal Designer / CDM Co-Ordinator

Hays Belfast are working with an established Architectural Practice based in Belfast in their search for a CDM Co-Ordinator / Principal Designer for Northern Ireland. Your new role
As Principal Designer / CDM Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring health and safety in the pre-construction phase, including identifying and eliminating potential risks and ensuring designers carry out their duties according to the regulations. You will assist in compiling pre-construction information and providing it to designers and contractors alongside preparing the health and safety files, liaising with the principal contractor to help in the planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordination of the construction phase.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have demonstrable experience within the HSEQ sector ideally within a construction or practice environment. You will have the relevant NEBOSH qualification with IOSH membership preferable but not essential. Previous background in a CDM role or Principal Designer role is advantageous.
