VANRATH are working with a successful business in Greater Belfast in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller for a period of up to 6 months. The Interim Financial Controller will be reporting to the Managing Director and will assume responsibility for management of the finance team. The Interim Financial Controller will play a leading role in the year end audit, working closely with the external auditors.

If you are a senior finance professional with experience of leading a small finance team, this could be the ideal role for you.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with experience in a senior leadership role
• Strong management skills
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
• Available immediately

What you’ll do

• Daily oversight of finance team
• Month end reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Lead year-end audit
• Cashflow forecasting and reporting to senior management
• Board reporting
