Supply Chain Manager

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Major Client with the Recruitment of a Supply Chain Manager to join a growing and dynamic team based in Dungannon.

Hours - Mon-Fri - 09:00-17:00

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 ( Negotiable Depending on Experience) + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

• *Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain for chilled/Frozen products, from procurement to distribution.
• *Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, ensure FIFO rotation, and forecast demand to minimise waste.
• *Accurately forecast demand using historical data and market trends, adjusting procurement and distribution strategies to meet fluctuating customer requirements.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Negotiate with suppliers, ensure timely deliveries, and monitor performance.
• Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate transportation, cold chain maintenance, and timely deliveries.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure product quality, safety standards (HACCP, BRCGS), and regulatory compliance.
• Waste Reduction & Sustainability: Develop strategies to reduce product waste and enhance sustainability.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate supply chain team members.
• Reporting & Analysis: Track KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain management, preferably in perishable goods.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle), inventory control systems, and MS Office.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical: Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
