The role:

As the Management Accountant you will be working very closely with the Financial Controller, providing accurate and timely accounts to management and the wider investment team.

Core Responsibilities include;

• Reviewing and closing month end management accounts in a timely and accurate manner;
• Producing monthly management accounts to include Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets
• Updating cashflow models and forecasts;
• Preparation of consolidated accounts
• Posting year end statutory adjustments and reconciling to management accounts;
• Liaising with auditors across group audits;
• Liaising with overseas investors on reporting queries and group reporting requirements;
• Preparing VAT returns;

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified accountant / Part Qualified / QBE
• Experience in closing month end reporting and producing management reporting packs
• Analysis of budget variances and understanding key events that impacted such variances in the month
• Ability to work independently when required and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills, time management and working towards tight deadlines
