Operations Manager (55K) Lurgan

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting with a Major Waste Recycling company with the Recruitment of an Operations Manager to join a growing and dynamic team based at their Lurgan premises.

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Benefits Package

Hours - 09:00-17:00

Responsibilities:

• Coordination, management, and monitoring of the workings of various departments in the business.
• Participating and contributing to the financial budget development.
• Building a culture of cleanliness and organisation on the company processing sites.
• Providing Operational reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Providing Directors with business performance feedback.
• Establishing strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory and sector bodies to ensure business success.
• Participating in the continual development of expansion of the business
• Actively supporting the Directors in execution of their duties in management of the business activities of the Group.
• Encouraging and supporting collaboration across departments and takes actions that are best for the individual.

Criteria:

• Always ensuring efficient functioning and timely delivery of all the business services and site processing activities through effective planning and execution.
• Measuring and reporting the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the business with an objective to continually improve and develop performance.
• Recruiting, train and develop staff to meet the needs of the business.
• Ensure so far as is reasonably and practicable, the health and safety and welfare of all employees under your supervision. To arrange suitable training and provide appropriate information and guidance on health and safety.
• Actively managing and coordinating fleet, plant, and equipment maintenance, testing, upgrade and repair as required to meet the changing requirements of a growing business.
• Supporting and assisting the Sales Team in performance of business development and sales.

Ideal Experience:

• Recycling/Waste Management: 2 years (preferred)
