About your next employer

VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading public sector employer based in Belfast City Centre who currently require a Qualified Accountant to join their team on an interim basis for 6 months.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to be fully qualified, with at least 4 years PQE, ideally within a managerial capacity.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 4 years PQE
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
• Management Accountant experience (desirable)
• Strong IT skills (MS Excel in particular)

What you’ll do

• Prepare monthly management accounts in line with schedule
• Presentation of financial information to non-finance colleagues
• Liaising with auditors
• Manage and deliver the Public Expenditure and Supply Estimate processes and requirements
• Develop and maintain financial management and payroll policies
