Our client, a
highly respected, established and growing company, wishes to recruit and experienced
Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with

THE PERSON
The successful
candidate will assist in managing the company's AP process, ensuring accurate
and timely processing and payment of invoices.
KEY DUTIES
- Review and verify invoices for
accuracy and appropriate approvals.
- Enter invoices into the accounting
system accurately and timely.
- Reconcile accounts payable
transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile company credit cards.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end closing
activities, including account reconciliations.
- Generate reports and assist with
internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company
policies and relevant regulations.
- Manage AP mailbox.
- Help prepare payment run.
THE PERSON
- Proven experience as an Accounts
Payable Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software
(e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and
organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and
as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and
the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
SALARY
An attractive salary within the range of
£26k - £29k (dependent upon experience) will be on offer to the successful
candidate
