MCS is delighted to be working alongside a leading telecommunications company based in NI to recruit a PR & Marketing Specialist to join their team and help develop and implement a PR and Public Affairs Strategy.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the PR strategy across the Group and individual business units. You will be responsible for strengthening the corporate image of the Group and ensuring consistency across business units, as well as supporting with marketing activities where required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all PR and group marketing activities have integrity and fit within group brand guidelines to strengthen the overall group reputation
• Working closely with network of agencies and Head of PR to develop and activate consumer and corporate PR strategy across the group, on time and within budget
• Maximising positive brand exposure from existing sponsorship and events within the group
• Writing and overseeing content pieces including awards entries and press releases
• Monitoring PR coverage and undertaking competitor research
• Produce monthly/weekly coverage and performance reports, evaluating success of campaigns and projects
• Working with P&C and Head of PR to Develop and activate internal communications plans, highlighting key business milestones across the group and ensuring consistency of messaging
• Preparing collateral and branded items for key PA & PR events
• Working with certain business units to support with marketing activities such as: case studies, build letters, newsletters, website updates and social media posts

Essential Criteria

• High level understanding of advertising & digital marketing.
• Educated to degree level, preferably in Marketing or a relevant business-related discipline or can show demonstrative capabilities and results in the field of marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns including digital marketing activity.
• Experience managing a range of social media platforms, including the creation and implementation of social media advertising.
