Our client, A Large public sector organisation, is looking for Admin Officers to join their team.
Duration: 9 months
Rate of pay: £12.59 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm - Hybrid offered after training period
Location: Belfast- 92 Ann Street
Start date: 10th March
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Officers in the Payment Services Team are primarily Assessment Officers, the role being to assess, and process claims for payments submitted by solicitors and barristers who have worked on legally aided cases. Claims are assessed in accordance with the legislation, guidance, and management directions for each claim type and against the electronic court records (ICOS).
Main responsibilities include:
o Assessing and authorising claims in accordance with the appropriate legislation and assessment guidelines adhering to the funding available.
o Handling of enquiries from legal representatives.
o To ensure that messages and queries are acted upon within the specified timeframes.
o Staff employed in Payment Services may be required to work in either the criminal or civil claims, depending on volumes of business being received- training will be provided.
o The role holder will also be required to carry out other duties which may arise which are applicable to the post and grade.
Essential Criteria
* 5 GCSE’s A-C including Maths & English (We will require proof at time of application)
