HR Consultant – Temporary – Immediate start

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a global organisation as they look to add HR Consultant to their team on an interim basis, likely for 6 months.

The role:

You will provide operational support to Employees and the wider HR team throughout the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding. This role is based in Belfast and supports a global team.

The main responsibilities:

• Providing first level support for all HR functions, escalating issues appropriately.
• Partner with HR stakeholders on employee life cycle activities and other projects and initiatives, including support with the offboarding process for employees.
• Review, audit and ensure integrity and compliance of the data including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay rate changes.
• Perform first level process and technical support for all HR systems and escalates issues appropriately.
• Identify continuous process improvement opportunities and work with the relevant stakeholders on requirements, testing and roll out.
• Ensure employee life cycle tasks and processes are completed with an awareness of local laws and regulations.
• Complete regular internal and external audits.
• Continuously review HR processes and documentation to ensure they are up to date.
• Support additional ad-hoc duties in line with business needs, including partnering with HR users and liaisons within the organisation to define requirements for ad-hoc report requests.
• Contribute to global HR projects and lead project initiatives when required.

The ideal candidate:

• HR Operations professional with 5+ years experience working within a global organisation.
• Experienced in supporting a global organisation with HR queries, systems, audits and data.
• Detail orientated and an innovative problem solver.
