Junior Business Analyst

MCS is delighted to be partnering with an established local company as they add a Junior Data Analyst to the team in Belfast. My client is a leader in the fast moving consumer goods sector and this position will see you working with blue chip companies and household name brands as you gain experience and establish your career in data.

The Role

• Deliver primary support for applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues, oversee system administration, manage user access, and ensure ongoing system upkeep.

• Maintain data accuracy through monitoring and governance, oversee batch processes, system interfaces, and electronic data exchanges, and keep support records up to date.

• Partner with technical teams and service providers to implement system improvements, address technical challenges, and proactively assess potential risks and opportunities.

• Create training materials, provide user training as needed, and drive issue resolution through problem solving.

The Person

• Strong academic background (ideally a graduate in business, finance or sciences)
• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
• Solid experience using Excel and ideally some coding experience
• Experience with SAP would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
• A passion for Data
• Problem solver who can drive business
