Maintenance Technician (Day shift)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) for our prestigious industrial client based in Belfast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, high-performing and growing manufacturing business in Northern Ireland.

This role is a day shift pattern, working Monday – Friday (early finish Friday!)

The Role:

• As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery and equipment

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planned maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance efficiency
• Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems
• Breakdown repairs to ensure minimal disruption to production
• Working independently or as part of a team to complete project
• Training and developing skills in both mechanical and electrical disciplines

Essential Criteria:

• Apprenticeship in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing/production setting
  OR
• Apprenticeship in any setting plus 3+ years post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Proven ability to maintain plant and equipment in a high-volume production environment
• Willingness to develop skills across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
