Role: Scheme Coordinator – Temporary – Craigavon
Job Overview
VANRATH are assisting our client, a well-established and respected organisation in their search for a Scheme Coordinator. You will work to deliver an enhanced housing management service to independent living residents, ensuring top-quality service in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
- Salary: £22,500 - £23,500 pro rata
- 30 hours per week
- Temporary cover
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with tenants and ensure their support needs are responded to efficiently and effectively in line with support plans.
- Maintain regular contact with tenants and stay informed about their circumstances.
- Collaborate with neighbouring Co-ordinators and work flexibly in this area as required.
- Be accountable for initial assessments and support plans in accordance with Supporting People requirements and our service standards.
- Work alongside the Housing Officer for the scheme, delivering services that matter, in accordance with requirements.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records, making full use of ICT opportunities available to deliver an efficient and high-standard service within agreed timescales.
- Work collaboratively with partnering agencies and stakeholders, including GPs, social workers, relatives, and/or next of kin, to deliver key services to our tenants.
- Ensure emergency calls are responded to in a supportive manner and manage emergency situations appropriately by seeking advice from the Housing Officer as necessary.
Essential Criteria:
- Good understanding of what great customer experience looks like.
- Previous experience of working with computer packages.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate sensitive and important information.
- Organised and able to balance several ongoing tasks at the same time, whilst understanding the importance of accurate recording.
- Compassion and empathy to work with people in a housing-related field.
- Ability to use initiative, take responsibility and deal appropriately with difficult and challenging situations.
- Ability to supervise staff and liaise with contractors to ensure a high standard of service.
- A flexible approach to working hours and ability to work out of hours when required.
