THE REGULATION AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY (RQIA 1/25)

Working together to Improve safety and quality in Health and Social Care Services

The Department of Health is seeking to appoint 2 Authority Members to the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA). Applications are invited from those with a professional knowledge and background in Nursing or in Digital Transformation.

The positions offer an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in helping to shape and drive the delivery of essential health and social care services and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

It is expected that the successful candidates will take up post from May 2025.

The Department would particularly welcome applications from women, young people, people with disabilities and people from ethnic minority communities.

A Guaranteed Interview Scheme (GIS) will operate for those applicants who have declared a disability.

Time Commitment: 2-3 days per month;

Remuneration: £6,975 per year.

The period of appointment will be for a period not longer than four years.
