HR & Talent Graduate
My client is a leading provider of quality materials and solutions. Based in Coleraine, they are currently seeking a HR & Talent Graduate to join their team.
This is a Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract Position.
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5pm (Hybrid working available after training)
With a salary of £27,000 per annum.
Job Purpose:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR environment while supporting various aspects of human resources, including administration, training and development, and project work.
Essential Criteria:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (a CIPD qualification or progress toward one is desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR systems or databases (desirable but not essential).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel to other locations as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain employee records, prepare contracts, assist with recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the coordination and delivery of training programmes and development initiatives for employees. Liaison with CITB to obtain training grants.
- Through attendance at Career fairs, developing links with Universities/Colleges and apprentice partners.
- Effective management of the administration relating to the employee review process.
- Contribute to HR-related projects aimed at developing our existing procedures and enhancing employee engagement, such as long service recognition, wellbeing and diversity initiatives and HR process improvements.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, ensuring data is accurate and compliant.
- Assist with the management and development of current HR related business systems including Flex, Fusion and Success Factors.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, providing assistance with HR-related queries and ensuring a professional and responsive service.
- Other duties as necessitated by the HR & Talent Manager/HR Team.
