Android Developer - Contract

MCS Group is looking for an Android Developer with Kotlin experience for a contract in Belfast! As Android Developer, you will work on a cutting-edge Android application and get your hands dirty with the development. The successful Android Developer will bring their CyberSecurity/App Security experience, and make a valuable contribution to a key project.

The Role

• Develop and maintain secure Android applications and SDKs.
• Work closely with third-party developers to integrate SDKs.
• Ensure top-tier security and performance in all Android solutions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end engineers.

The Person

• It is essential that you have prior experience as an Android Developer in the cybersecurity sector or have worked on Android applications where cybersecurity was a priority.
• Experience of Android development with Kotlin is essential, and you will also have worked with XML.
• You will have experience building and optimising SDKs for third-party use.
• Due to the nature of the project, knowledge of secure coding practices and mobile security principles is essential.

This is an initial 6 month contract with potential extension beyond.

Rate: Negotiable
Location: This contract is Belfast based, however it may be possible to work from elsewhere in the UK with some on-site working during project kick-off.
