MCS Group are looking for a Head of Finance & Governance to join a public sector organisation based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a public sector organisation based in Belfast. They provide support to health care professional as Belfast and South East Northern Ireland, as well as managing a range of services. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit a Head of Finance & Governance for their well established finance team.

The Rewards:

As the successful Head of Finance & Governance, you will receive the following:

• £58,972 - £68,525 salary;
• Pension (HSCNI - 23.2%)
• Flexible/hybrid working options (3 days office/2 days home;

The Role:

As the successful Head of Finance & Governance you will report directly to the Chief Executive and will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee the rest of finance team;
• Ownership for annual budget and budgetary control;
• Lead in development of annual business plan;
• Provide strategic leadership to senior management team;
• Ensure sound internal controls;
• Implement robust financial sustainability plan;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Head of Finance & Governance will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA;
• Strong stakeholder management experience;
• Strong financial control experience;
• Strong management experience.
