Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Belfast (2/3 hybrid split)
Salary: Disclosed on Enquiry
Contract: 12 month FTC

About the Role

VANRATH are proud to be partnering with our award-winning private sector client. You will act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees. You will play a crucial part in supporting the overall employee experience across multiple sites, primarily in Northern Ireland, with occasional travel to the Republic of Ireland as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising managers and employees on Learning & Development opportunities.
• Assisting with payroll and board reporting while ensuring compliance with audit regulations.
• Conducting market intelligence and benchmarking for competitive employee rewards.
• Delivering in-house training sessions on policies and processes.
• Enhancing the employee experience through a structured onboarding process.
• Managing end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing and onboarding.
• Maintaining and updating internal databases and producing monthly management reports.
• Offering HR advisory services on employee relations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
• Preparing data reports and analysis, including HR statistics.
• Providing support throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Supporting HR projects, process improvements, and system training for managers.
• Supporting performance management processes and guiding managers on employee development.
• Working closely with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Key Criteria

• CIPD Level 3 or higher in HR Management
• 2+ years' HR generalist experience in an advisory capacity across the employee lifecycle.
• Strong experience managing employee relations matters.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
