VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing business in County Tyrone, on an initial 6-month contract. The organisation is heavily involved in sustainable manufacturing and are keen for the Senior Accountant to focus on reviewing cost saving initiatives.

The Senior Accountant will be expected to have significant manufacturing experience, ideally working within a senior leadership role, and have a proven ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction. The successful candidate will join a vibrant working environment and will be given the autonomy to make a significant difference in the financial results of the business.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years’ experience in senior leadership role
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to liaise closely with non-finance staff

What you’ll do

• Reviewing cost saving initiatives
• Oversee all cost accounting operations including cost analysis, budgeting & forecasting
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to support business decisions
• Develop and maintain cost control systems
• Support wider finance team with month end management accounting responsibilities
