VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful manufacturing business based in the Dungannon area in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller. This is an initial interim contract for a period of 6 months and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will join the SMT and will play an important part in driving cost reductions throughout the business. The ideal candidate will have extensive manufacturing experience, along with having the gravitas to work closely with Operational Managers.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years’ experience in senior leadership role
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to liaise closely with non-finance staff

What you’ll do

• Reviewing cost saving initiatives
• Oversee all cost accounting operations including cost analysis, budgeting & forecasting
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to support business decisions
• Develop and maintain cost control systems
• Support wider finance team with month end management accounting responsibilities
