MCS Group Supporting our Charity Partner, SistersIN in the advertisement of a full time permanent Educational Programme Manager within the organisation.

The Client
SistersIN have experienced significant growth and currently engage with over 50 schools and 700 participants building skills, networks and opportunities for young women across Northern Ireland. The Vision for this Organisation is to expand their reach to make SistersIN accessible for all post sixteen female pupils and the Educational Programme Manager will be central in the delivery of these goals.

The Role
The Educational Programme Manager will be the key point of contact for schools, and work with the team to engage mentors and corporate partners to enhance the programme’s quality, strengthen school relationships and support overall growth.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver a range of leadership and educational modules to school-aged (16-18 years) girls in secondary schools and community settings across Northern Ireland.
  • Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate lesson plans and activities that align with SistersIN’s mission to empower young women and encourage positive leadership qualities.
  • Assist in creating innovative resources, programmes, and materials for Lead Teachers to support the strategic objectives of SistersIN’s educational aims.
  • Collaborate with schools to deliver tailored experiences, including mentorship schemes and leadership development opportunities.

You will be based remotely, with office working and team catch ups 1-2 times per week (currently Downpatrick, but subject to change) with regular, onsite visits with participating and potential schools throughout Northern Ireland
The Person
This role would be ideal for a candidate who has experience in the design and delivery of a set curriculum or programme and has a passion for working with young people.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous demonstrable experience working within a Learning and Development environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the design and delivery of training programmes and resources for organisations
  • Full driver’s license and access to own car for business use

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working with children and young adults
