As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Achieving production targets while maintaining high-quality standards and reducing waste.
• Supervising and developing the production team to enhance engagement and performance.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, including BRC and HACCP.
• Preparing for audits and inspections to maintain operational excellence.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Promoting a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience in a management role within an FMCG environment.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production-related systems.
• A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

It would be an advantage to have:

• Experience in a leadership role within dairy or food production.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
