Residential Site Manager (Belfast)

They are seeking to add an experienced Site Manager to their workforce for upcoming local residential housing projects.

Your new role

As a Site Manager with this contractor, you will oversee the daily operations of their residential construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site activities.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Communicating with clients, architects, and subcontractors to define work requirements and provide progress updates.
• Preparing and negotiating cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Selecting and managing subcontractors and staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Monitoring compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Resolving any work problems or emergencies that may arise on the site.
• Ordering and managing materials and equipment.
• Documenting all job site activities and preparing reports for management.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly in residential construction delivering large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as the Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
